Abstract
Although, the use of pesticide to control the agricultural pests is a necessary practice, it may affect the environmental conditions specially the biochemical and physical properties of the soil. Also, the applied herbicides may be affected by biochemical, physical and chemical characteristics of soils. So, studying the effect of applied herbicides on some soil properties as well as the utilization of these materials in the medium, however, is very important. Three recommended herbicides (Linuron, atrazine and metribuzin) were used to study the reciprocal effects of these herbicides and some biochemical, physical and chemical properties of some Egyptian soils obtained from Abu El-Matamir, Dissouk and Kafr El-Sheikh.
