Abstract
Urinary tract infections are one of the most prevalent infections among hospitalized patients. Although the majority of urinary tract infections are bacterial, up to 10% may have a fungal etiology with candida spp. being the most prevalent fungal isolate. Midstream urine samples were collected from 134 inpatients female admitted to Wadmadani hospital for obstetrics and gynecology in Sudan
