Abstract
The experiments in this study were conducted during the two successive seasons of 1984/85 and 1985/86 at the experimental station of Mansoura Agriculture College.
The main object in this work was to study some factors on the growth and flowering of Poinsettia
This study included on three different experiments as follows:
In the first experiment-two factors were used which the first was .three different planting date, (Aug. 1, 16 and Sept. 1). While the second factor was eee as foliar spray application at 1500 j 2000, 2500 ppm ccc in addition of control ones, for chemically controlled Poinsettia to obtain suitable flowering tot plants. Data were recorded for vegetative growth, flowering and chemical composition (N, P, K and carbohydrates).
But the second experiment was to study planting dates(Aug. 1, 16 and Sept. 1) and fertilization levels. The high level added was composed of (600, 60 and 300 ppm), the medium (400, 45 and 200 ppm) and the low (200, 30 and 100 ppm) for nitrogen 1 phosphorous and potassium respectively.
