Abstract This experiment was carried out during 1982 and 1983 growing seasons. The object were to study the effesct of foliar application of gebberrlic acid (GA3); Zink ,manganese and iron, each alone ar combined with GA3, on the leaf petioles content of NPK, Zn, Mn, and Fe. Furthermore. the effect of the above mentioned compounds on yield and fruit quality of the Thompson seedless grapes was included. The results obtained could be summarized in the following points: I. Effect of various treatments on nutrients content in the grape leaf petioles:- 1. The NPK content in the leaf petioles was not effected by the various treatments. The values of NPK were higher at the beginning of the growing season, then gradually decreased as the season advanced. 2. Zinc application caused significant increase in grape leaf petioles content of zinc as compared with the other treatments • . 3. ’The application of CA3 to the vines sprayed with zinc. resulted in significant increase in the leaf. |
