Abstract
This thesis composes of two chapters, the first chapter contains a literature survey including the structural chemistry of some dithiocarbazate metal complexes also their biological and catalytic activity which were reported. While the second chapter include the results obtained from this studing where the second chapter studies the preparation and characterization of a new Ru(II)/(III), Fe(III) and V(IV) complexes with diacetylmonoxime Schiff base of S-methyldithiocarbazate ligand (H2damsm) also, Fe(III) and Ru(III) complexes with diacetylmonoxime Schiff base of S-benzyldithiocarbazate ligand (H2damsb). The use of some of these complexes as catalytic oxidants is reported for benzyl alcohol and cyclohexanol to the corresponding benzaldhyde and cyclohexanone, respectively in the presence of t-BuOOH or H2O2 as co-oxidants.
