Abstract
• Pulmonary involvement is a common manifestation in Egyptian RA patients. In most cases, this involvement is asymptomatic. • HRCT is the best technique to recognize pulmonary involvement in RA patients while plain x-ray is not reliable. • There is no association between pulmonary involvement and pulmonary function tests. • The pattern of pulmonary involvement in Egyptian patients is generally consistent with other studies that were performed worldwide.
