Abstract isatin derivatives are significant classes of heterocyclic systems, and constituents of various important naturally occurring and synthetic compounds. the chemistry and pharmacological activity of isatin and related compounds has been the object of considerable synthetic effort . in particular, amino derivatives of isatin such as its n-mannich bases and schiff bases and their derivatives, have received significant attention due to their wide range of pharmacological activity ,including antibacterial,anticonvulsant,anti-hiv,antifungal ,cytotoxic and anticancer activities. the present thesis is concerned with : 1- the synthesis of a new series of n-mannich bases and bis(n-mannich bases) related to isatin, which possess considerable synthetic and pharmaceutical interest. 2-the use of isatin schiff bases as substrates in mannich reaction . 3-the synthesis of some new 3-spiro-heterocyclic amines of 2-indolinone. 4-the synthesis of ketonic mannich bases containing the of 2-indolinone nucleus. |
