Abstract
This study was conducted at the research station, Dakahlia governorate in the from of national program of random from the herd of this farm. The average initial body weight of the animals was group ( 10 animals ) to study the effect of two system of feeding and the effect of flavomycin addition on body per-formance and effeciency of meat production. The first system : concentrates were fed at the rate of 2% of body weight with untreated rice straw ( group 1.3 ). The second system : concentrates were fed at the rate of 1.4% of body weight and ammonia treated rice straw ( group 2.4 ). The previous groups divided to examined the effect of flavomycin supplementation in feeding animals as followed : Group 1 : fed on untreated rice straw plus 2% concentrate without flavomycin addition. Group 2 : fed on treated rice straw with 3% ammonia plus 1.4% concentrate without flavomycin. Group 3 : fed on untreated rice straw plus 2% concentrate with addition of 50 mg/head/day flavomycin. Group 4 : fed on treated rice straw with 3% ammonia plus 1.4% concentrate with addition of 50 mg/headn/day flavomycin.
