Abstract
Present study aimed to investigate the effect of nicotine on following parameters. Percent of survival : Nicotine treatment increased death rate in females more than in males. Body weight gain : Nicotine treatment significantly lowered the increased values of body weight gain in mice during growth. Water and lipid contents : Nicotine treatment caused significant decrease in heart, liver and kidney water content.Liver and kidney lipid content showed significant decrease in used mice however heart lipid content showed significant decrease in one month treatment while two months treatment caused significant increase.
