Abstract
Egyptian onions are exported to many countries of the world this crops is greatly desired for its good characters asn early appearance on foreign marketsintensive winter onion cultivations are concentrated in upper Egypt at shohage Assuit Minia and beni-Suif governorates during the perios of 1964 1968 these provinces produced about 84% of the winter evport crops(71).
