Abstract
Joints Are Studied In Some Details To Detect Its Distribution Either Laterally Or Vertically. Most Of The Recorded Joints Are Of Small - Scale, Mega - Joints Are Also Recorded. These Are Mainly Tension Joints, Sometimes Are Noticed Mineralized With Calcite.geologically the area is coverd by lithologic units ranging in age from late carboniferous to eocene and crossed by basaltic dykes the oldest exposed rocks are those belonging to w.rod el hammal.
