Abstract

Fish are considered as an important source of animal protein .essential amino acids and essential fatty acid. In addition to fat soluble vitamins. phosphorus. iodine But unfortunately. the pollution of either freshwater or marine water affects the fish quality and production. River Nile is considered the artery life in egpyt. It exposed to different kinds of chemical and biological pollutants such as various industrial, agricultural and sewage effluents, that affect the physic co-chemical and biological parameters of the Nile water and subsequently all aquatic organisms. So many trials and researchers were carried out to study the changes in water of different locations along the river Nile. The aim of the present study is to study the physical, chemical and biological changes that happen in the River Nile water and also in sediment and fish through choosing some regions in Dakhlia an Damietta Governorate and one reign as control from Giza Governorate. Water, sediment and fish samples were collected during winter (January and February) and summer (Luly and August), 1977.from five locations along the River Nile.
