Abstract
The Present Work Is Concerned With The Petrography, Mineralogy And Chemistry Of Egyptian Tertiary Basalts In Seven Occurrences. About 400 Thin Sections And 70 Polished Sections Representing These Occurrences Were Studied.staing techniques was used for the identification of nepheline and analctite>x-ray diffractomerty of bulk samples and clay fractions thirty five new chemiacl analyses were presnted for egyptian basalts.
