Abstract Gravity measurements and seismic data of six lines covering the Nile Delta area were analysed for regional subsurface structural interpretation. Rock density distribution model for the various subsurface geologic formation was made by direct density determination using core samples representing the different formations penetrared in 17 deep wells drilled by oil companies in the area. Some geologic sections constructed on basis of analysis of the seismic data ; were interated aganist the gravity measurements gathered along these sections, applying the tow dimensional dot chart method and the best fit technique. |
