Abstract
In the present work, the iron ore deposits of Gabal El - Shayib area are studied for the first time. Their field occurrence at Umm Anab and Fatira El zarqa as bands alternating with metasediments and metavolcanics has been followed. Seven profiles have been made, traced and measured for correlation and for investigating their geologic occurrence.
