Abstract
The present work deals with the microfossils, microfacies and biostratigraphy carried out by the author on the Eocene subsurface deposits of Shibin El Kom Well No. 1, in the Southern part of the Nile Delta, Egypt, which ranges in age from Recent to Upper Jurassic, adopting the stratigraphic classification suggested by the international Egyptian Oil Company (I. E. O. C. , 1971).
