Abstract The mosquitoes are one of the most dangerous diseases vectors which causes fillariasis, malaria and dengue fever. The use of natural microbial pathogens to control these vectors is a striking trend. The insecticide prepared from these pathogen, to be effective, must have several characteristics: presence of resistant stages in life cycle as spores to survive unfavourable conditions, ease of preparation and dealing, and safety. Most or some of these are coincided with Bacillus bacteria and some protozoans from Phylum: Microsporidia. This study comprises: 1¬?Collection of mosquitoes from the natural breeding sites in Daqahlyia Province. 2¬?Definition of seasonal infection and peaks of microsporidian infection. 3¬?Identification of natural infection with microsporidia. 4¬?Study of microsporidian infection on host life cycle (larval mortality, pupal formation, and adult emergence). 5¬?Identification of microsporidian infection on light microscopic level |
