Abstract
The present study aimed to evaluate the effect of some microbial entomopathogens such as the bacterial formulation protecto, the fungal formulation bioransa and the viral formulation viroset against the cotton leafworm Spodoptera littoralis that considered as one of the most important and dangerous pests which attacked several crops specially the cotton plants and many other vegetables.This study consisted of evaluating the effect of some entomopathogens on some biological aspects of S. littoralis such as larval mortality, larval duration percentage of pupation, pupal duration, pupal weight, percentage of adult emergence and sex ratio, the effect of these entomopathogens on total soluble proteins, carbohydrate hydrolyzing enzymes, transminases (GPT, GOT) and the histopathological effect of these entomopathogens on the midgut of treated larvae.
