Abstract
The present study was carried out at Manzalah Fish - Farm using five ponds each is about 18 feddans. The rearing period extend for about 400 days (October 1976 - October 1977 ). During this period the physico - chemical characteristics, mud analysis, phytoplankton and zoopla - nkton abundance was determined.
