Abstract The aim of this study is to find a correlation between the clinical picture and biochemical changes in patients with chronic renal failure before and after hemodialysis. The material of this study comprised thirty two uremic patients, twenty males and twelve females divided according to duration of illness into 3 groups: Group I: Comprised seven patients, five males and two females with duration of illness one month to six months. Group II: Comprised eleven patients, seven males and four females with duration of illness seven to twelve months. Group III: Comprised fourteen patients, eight males and six females with duration of illness more than one year to six years. All patients were su1)jected to the following: _ Clinical assessment which include history taking and clinical examination before, just after, and after one month of regular hemodialysis _ The following investigations were done to every patient ”before and after one month of regular hemodialysis. - Serum creatinine. _ Serum electrolytes: Sodium, potassium, calcium, and phosphorus. |
