Abstract
Antitumor action is but one aspect of the generalized growth inhibition produced by Ara-C.it also inhibits the growth of other proliferating tissues such as regenerating bone marrow and embryos, sometimes with production of developmental abnormalities in the latter, as well as the replication of DNA containing viruses.
