Abstract
The aim of this study is to evaluate the role of
ultrasonography in the diagnosis of intraocular and intraorbital
space occupying lesions (tumors and tumor simulating lesions).The most frequent indication for ultrasonography of the eye
is an opaeity, such as corneal scarring, cataract or haemorrhage,
which prevents adequate clinical evaluation of intraocular
structures.
