Abstract
Three hundred samples were obtained from different slaughtered animals (35buffaloes, 15 cattle, 15 sheep, and 10 goats ). The samples were collected from surfaces and muscles ( shoulder surface, thigh surface, fore quarter muscle and hind quarter muscle). The samples were investigated for determination of Aerobic plate count (APC), Enterobacteriaceae count, coliforms count, E coli count (M.P.N.), C.perfringens count (M.P.N.), as well as isolation of Salmonella, Staph.aureus and serological identification of E.coli.
