Abstract
Unpredicatable amounts of irrigant fluid may be absorped during turp the volume of fluid may be large and the absorption may be insidious or rapid the resultant expansion of intravascular volume and dilution of serum electrolytes may be life threatening this study has been planned to evaluate the most suitable anaesthetic.
