Abstract Although the indidence of leaf spot disease is relatively high in Egypt, there is no specific study carried out in this respect until now. Therefore, this work was conducted to survey the leaf spotting fungi in Egypt and to study some physiological aspects concerning the host-parasite relationship between these fungi and their hosts. Twenty six species of fungi belonging to twelve genera namely, Alternaria alternata, A. citri, A. brassiciola, A. tenuissima, Aspergillus ornatus, A, niger, A. wentii, A. sydowii, Cephalosporium roseo-griseum. |
