Abstract
Since the end of world war Π there has been a steady change in the structure of the world’s economy, with a decline in primary (extractive) and secondary( manufacturing) industries and a growth in the tertiry (service) sector of occupational health and safety (Cox et al., 1988)
Today more than ever before, the psychological and social problems of work are a focus of interest. In particular, there has increasing professional and public interest relating to occupational stress and health.
