Abstract
Four pure alumina gels were prepared at different phs ”6.8-8.8” by the addition of ammonium hydroxide to a soluation of hydrated aluminium nitrate at 65-70 c< with continuons vigorous stirring. The gel was washed several times with 1% ammonia soulution and then by distilled water till free from nitrate ions.
