Abstract Two-hundred and twenty four cases of bladder tumors were studied by DNA flow cytometry. Tumors were classified according to cytoflowmetric DNA analysis into diploid or aneuoloid. Proliferatve properties of tumors were assessed from the properties of S- phase cells. The cytoflowmetric data were correlated to the histopathologic parameters: cell type, stage, grade and status of the regional lymph nodes removed at operation. Thirty five cases of transitional cell carcinoma, treated by endoscopic resection and adjuvant inntravesical immunotherapy, were followed. |
