المستخلص
The research aims at recognizing the attacking tactical performance of the African Cup of Nations 2006 which was held in Egypt. The researcher used the descriptive surveying method. The research sample contains 160 players, represents 8 teams and were being considered through 11 matches by 35 percent of the total matches in the championship. The most important results were that creating free spaces by teamwork and that was the most plans for creating spaces used among the sample teams the tactical combination that start in the mid-field and develop in the wing and ended by a cross pass, is the most tactics used by The Egyptian Team and the other teams under research . The free running and the attacking back up in are the most basic plans by The Egyptian Team and the other teams under research.
