Abstract

This study was planned as to evaluate and compare the role of hormonal factors and the immunological ounces in gingival tissue response to local factors in pregnant patients. Fourty females participated in this study. They ware selected from the out-patient clinic of Shatby Maternity Hospital. They were comprised of thirty pregnant females aged 20-30 years free from any systemic disease and not receiving any hormonal therapy and ten females as controls.
