Abstract
Adult human diabtic osteopaenia is a wellknown clinical feature i most of the diabetic patients. Healthet al., (I979)
stated that there was no derangement of cslcium metaboilsm in insulin requiring diabetics, regardless of the treament status. Others confirmed that modest degrees of reduced bone mass are often found i both juvenile and adult-onset diabetes (levin et al., I976).
