Abstract
In this study attempts were made to establish a new cell line of schistosomal bladder cancer. Twenty five specimens were mad to in vitro culture by fragment and trypsinization techniques. Three types of media were used, namely, RPMI - 1640, Mccoy’s 5A and minimum essential medium. Each medium consisted of the basal solu-tion supplemented with 20% foetal bovine serum and various additives including insulin, glucose, transferrin and hydrocortisone.
