Abstract
A retrospective study was carried out through reviewing the medical records of leprosy patients who have attended the leprosarium at Mansoura City during the period from the year 2000 to the end of the year 2004. The aim of the present work is to determine the prevalence rate of leprosy, types, sociodemographic aspects, clinical presentation, evaluation of the efficacy of treatment, complications and disabilities of the disease in Dakahlia governorate.
