Abstract
This study was carried out during 2000 and 2001 seasons at Laboratory of Plant Protection Research Institute, Dakahlia Governorate, Agricultural Research Center and Experimental Farm of Faculty of Agriculture, Mansoura University to investigate the pesticidal and biological activity of various chemical and biological agents against T. urticae (Koch) infesting soybean crop and its sideeffect on associated predator to select the promising compounds, which can be recommended to use in integrated pest programs. On the basis of the above mentioned results, it could be concluded that biocides and natural products were the superior among the tested compounds and had the lowest sideeffects against the predators and the highest potency against the target species. Results suggest that these treatments are good candidates for use in integrated mite control programs.
