Abstract Proper leaching involved several techniques including selective and pug acid treatment, alkali leaching beside salt roasting prior to leaching while recovery procedure included ion exchange resin and solvent extraction. After discussion of the obtained data, it was possible to propose two tentative flowsheets for the recovery of the studied metal values. In the first flowsheet, two leaching circuit are proposed, namely a dilute acid circuit for U and Cu leaching followed by an acid pug leaching for V. While Cu can be recovered by cementation , U and V liquors from the two circuit were recovered by Amberlite IRA 400 EXCHANGE RESIN. In the second flowsheet, a direct acid pug leach is carried out to have the three metal values together. After Cu extraction, U/V liquor is successively treated using di 2 ethylhexyl phosphoric acid (DEHPA) as acidic cation extraction for U and Aliquat 336 ( A strongly basic quaternary amine) as anionic extractant for V.
