Abstract
Dissertation Abstract : The study sheds the light on class discourse in Edward Bond<U+2019>s Bingo and Early Morning . It falls into six chapters preceeded by an introduction and followed by a conclusion . The introduction disscusses Edward Bond and the rational theatre and Brech<U+2019>s influnce over him . Chapter one is about class structure and social interaction and the most important theories related to them . Chapter two is about discourse structure in the two plays . Chapter three is about speech acts and their different types . Chapter four deals with presupposition . Chapter five is about implicature . Chapter six discusses deixis and its types in the two plays . The thesis ends with a conclusion to the whole study .
