Abstract Copper manganese oxides have been subjected to several investigations involving methods of preparation, characterization and applications. In the present work we have employed a new method of preparation, which is the coprecipitation as mixed CuMn carbonates, to obtain more homogeneous products and clear phase structures. The effect of a range of preparation variables was investigated in detail. The variables investigated included the [Cu]/[Mn] molar ratio in the precipitation solution, the catalyst calcination temperature, the type and the amount of a dopant such as Li2O or Al2O3 . Studying the original samples and the doped samples via different techniques such as xray analysis, thermal analysis, nitrogen adsorption, kinetics of the decomposition of H2O2 and electrical conductivity, have been participated in recognizing the electronic structure of the system (which controls most of its applications) and the mechanism of its performance in oxidation reduction reactions. Composites containing Cu, Mn, and Ba are not characterized, while those containing Co, Mn and Ba ( BaCoxMn1xO3(Se ? (Bare known, Hence, an attempt was carried out to prepare a similar series |
