This study aims at recognizing the effect of a suggested weight training program on developing the constituents of physical fitness regarding the back cast movements –i.e. the effectiveness of skillful performance of back cast movements –and some physiological variables under discussion. The pilot studies was conducted during the period from February 3rd,2001 to April 29th,2001 in order to define the most proper repetitions for performing the test of speed-characterized strength relating to the back cast movements, as well as to find the scientific coefficients(speed-characterized strength, the effectiveness of skillful performance)of the back cast movements. Besides, the study was conducted to train the leaders and the auxiliaries to implement the tests, record the results, order the performance of the tests, and recognize the time t hey may take. For the primary study, it was applied on a sample of 34 wrestlers divided into two groups one of which was experimental of 18 wrestlers and the other was the control group of 16 wrestlers during the period from September 23rd, 2001 to December 13th, 2001. THE RESULTS OF THE RESEARCH The suggested weight-training program resulted in the development of all the elements of physical fitness regarding the back cast movements as well as the improvement of the effectiveness of the skillful performance of them. Besides, the program led to the increase of (maximal-oxygen consumption, vital capacity, anaerobic power ) as well as the decrease of pulse rate , while it did not result in the existence of statistically significant differences in the variable of blood pressure (whether systolic or diastolic ) despite that the measurement of blood pressure approached the natural rate.
