Abstract
The present work was carried out to investeLzate the effect of extracellular Ca2+ on lipolysis as well as its possible role on the action of both adrenaline and insulin.Albino rats were used for this experimental work The study ilicludes the following Croups: - group I the incubated in kreb’s RinEer phosphate buffered solution .group II : The isolated epididymal fat pads were:inc + ubated in k-rebts RiiiEer phosphate buffered solution after oiaiassioa of Ca2+from the group III - The isolated epididymal fat pads were inc- ubated with maximal dose of adrenaline ( 10 U gm / Ml ) - group IV : The isolated epididymal fat pads were incubated with maximal dose of adrenaline (10 u gm1ml) and Ca 2+ was onjitted from the incubation medium.
