Abstract
Transpedicular fixation of the spine with screw become popular, and because of increased complication from this fixation the attention directed toward the good and proper mean of fixation by screw or plate or rods to increase the strength of screw purchase through the pedicle. So that the morphometric study of the pedicle dimension, and orientation of the pedicle essential and must be keep in consideration as regard some authors as siallant et at Zindrick etal pedicle in Eureopen people by direct radiographic or by CT measurment of Dorsal and lumbar spine. . _ In our locality for (T9-L5) by direct measurment which give me transverse, sagittal diameter, sagittal angle and the depth of the anterior cortex. _ And by means of radiographic which give us the dimension of transverse diameter, sagittal diameter and sagittal angle and we also measure the pedicle dimension by C. T and we found that is the most accurate. _ In our study we compare our result of direct, Radiographic and C- T measurement with each other and with the other studies and we found that the result nearly the same with slight difference which is not significance. We utilize in this study 20 cadavers and 40 volunteers doing X-Ray and C-T scan.
