Abstract
Norplant implants is an acceptable and effective method I)f contraception. . . I • Norplant implant is a sale method of contraception. ; • Menstrual troubles represent the most common side effects of Norplant implant and the most common cause of discontinuation of their use. But generally there is improvement in these troubles with the extended time of use . • The menstrual pattern among users due’ to multiple factors . including the ovarian and endometrial changes. , • We study 40 ladies of Nor plant implant user~ were selected from whom attending fertility care unit. . • These users were divided into 2 group, . Group I: Including 30 cases who are compla,ining of menstrual trouble. . . Group 2: 10 case with who are regularly In~nstruating. ~Vef()und that with use oj’NQfplant implants.:’ • Some alteration in the endometrial histology are produced. These alteration are characterized mainly by regressive to atrophic, suppressed and Hyperplastic changes.
