Abstract
The wrist is a region of complex anatomy whose proper function, essential to every day activity, depends upon the integrity of number of joints, bones, and supporting soft tissue. Internal drangements compromise such function. Most of internal drangements could be suggested from the’ clinical history, clinical examination and laboratory investigations. Yet the confirmation and the evaluation of extent of affection is always inneed of imaging (Resnick and Kang, 1997). The known ability of MRI in tissue characterization has raised its value over other imaging modalities in study of joints because it can display clearly the bony surfaces, articular cartilage as well as the related ligaments and tendons ’(Brody and Stoller, 1993). The complex anatomy of the wrist region requires special technical refinements in its examination by MRI in order to optimise the spatial and contrast resolutions which aid to fulfill the best results (Totterman and Miller, 1995; Fritz and Brody, 1995).
