Abstract 15 children with extrinsic asthma their attacks were frequent during night with ages between 4-11 years, and 6 healthy children at the same ages were included in this study. The asthmatic children were selected from the pediatric ’allergy out patient clinic of MaIlsoura University hospital. All bronchodilators medication was stopped 48 hours before the study and oral steroids also had been stopped 6 monthes before the stud. Asthmatic patients were subjected to:- 1- History taking especially family history of atopy, recurrence of wheezes and response to bronchodilators. 2-Clinical examination for diagnosis of astrooa. 3- Complet blood picture with total and differential leucocytic count. 4- Skin test to common 8allergens. 5- PFR measurment with mini wrigtlt peak flow meter. 6-Radiological chest examination with postroanterior view. Control group were SUbjected to the same history taking, clinical examination and investigations and proyed to be normal. |
