Abstract
Our study was performed on 400 normal adult persons of both sex. Those peoples were volunteers and were of different jobs and came from different localities from Dakhlia district. Their ages were ranged between 20 to 50 years, 56.5% were males and 43.5% were females. The body weight was ranged between 62 kg to 120 kg, and body length was ranged between 155 cm to 182 cm. 77% of cases were considered over weighted and 23% of cases were average weighted as regards the body built. 68.75% of cases were little users of their hips, while 31.25% of cases were excessive users of their hips as regards the level of daily activity in relation to the occupation. After initial history taking and examination to exclude preVIOUS affection to the spine, pelvis and lower limbs and to know their ages, body weight, body length, body built, and occupations. Anteroposterior view of both hips of good quality X-ray film were done with the limbs in the nutral position and the pelvis.
