Abstract
Glaucoma is one of eye diseases that can lead to complete loss of vision. It can affect patients in all ages. Loss of vision is secondary to optic atrophy. Many methods have been tried to treat glaucoma medications, LASERs and surgery. However non of these methods were proved full effective in the managment of all cases. The objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of multiple LASER techniques in the treatment of selected cases of glaucorna. Glaucomatous patients included in this study were choosen from the glaucOlna outpatient clinic, of Mansoura Ophthalmic Centre. Mansoura University Hospitals. All patient underwent the following: Detailed history including complaints, onset of the condition ocular medications used, and any previous LASERs or surgery perfonned. Detailed ocular examination including, visual acuity measurements, applanation tonometry, slitlamp biomicroscopic examination of the anterior segment of the eye, and gonioscopic examination. Fundus examination was done in some cases using direct ophthalmoscope, and 3-mirror Goldtnann contact lenses. _ Automated perimetry was done in some cases if possible.
