Abstract
1- In an attempt to make a comparative study between electrocardiographic findingss serum calcium and electro-ohoretic pattern of serun proteins in cases of urinary and hepatosplenic bilharziasis we selected 105 cases from which 20 normal subjects were taken as control group, and the patients were divided into the following groupss - 15 cases with isolated urinary bilharziasis, 9 cases of which were with enlarged liver and spleen, while the 7 cases were without enlarged liver or spleen. - 12 cases of hepatosplenic bilharziasis without marked diarrhea and/or dysentery. - 12 cases of hepatosplenic bilharziasis with marked .diarrhea and/or dysentery. - 7 cases of hepatosplenic bilharziasis with generalised oedema and gross albuminuria. - :, - 10 cases of hepatosplenic bilharziasis with ascites. - 19 cases with combined urinary and hepatosplenic bil¬harziasis, 10 of them without marked diarrhea and/or dysentery and 9 cases with marked diarrhea and/or dysentery. - 10 cases of urinary bilharziasis with chronic renal failure, with or without hepatosplenic bilharziasis
