Abstract
Histological and Histochemical study of the endometrium in mal fertile females and those using some contraceptives: The present study was carried out on 120 endometrial obtained from women attending fertility care unit n Mansoura University Hospital. The biopsies were taken from two groups of women: The group (control group) inculded forty post and remenstrual endometrial biopsies that were obtained from 40 fertile women. The second group (contraceptive included eighty endometrial biopsies obtained from women and was divided into 4 subgroups. The first subgroup was included women who used copper T200 IUCD, from one three years. The second subgroup (b) used low close combined oral contraceptive pills (microvlar 30) from one to three years. The third subgroup (c) used long acting injectable (DMPA) given 1.M/3 months as a single close of 150mg from one to three years. The fourth subgroup (d) used norplant from one to two years. Twenty endometrial biopsies were taken from each 4 subgroups. These women had a regular menstrual cycle. Each endometrial biopsy was divided into two portions, one was immediatly frozen and sectioned at lOU thickness. The frozen sections of the specimens were intubated with histochemical substrates to evaluate.
