Abstract
Dermabrasion is controlled removal of epidermis and as such of the superficial dermal layers as is neccery to accomplish the clinical goal while preserving sufficient epidermal adnexa to allow for spontaneous re-epithelialization 1 hout scarring. The removal or improvement of cosmetic blemishes and defects as defects scars and unsightly pigmentations was always a problem and Untit the methodes of dermabrasion was devised. the dermatologists has littel to ffer the patients with scars or other cosmetic defects. The aim of our work was to The aim of our work was the results of ermabrasion using the new technique of micrDdermabrasiDn twith inert crystals as a line of management of some cosmetic Udermatologic problems including : Seborrheic keratoses, post tacne scars, melasma • freckles and striae distensae.the problems in the technique and its complications were recorded in this study.
