Abstract This study was carried out on fourty patients with obstructive (Malignant or non malignant) without preoperative renal cardiac diseases submitted to surgery for relief of obstructive jaundice at Gastro-enterology unit Mansoura University. The patients were randomly distributed into four groups (ten All patients were received preoperative hydration In the form of 1000 ml of crystalloid solutions at the night of surgery. The first group of patients (group D) were received dopamine infusion (2.5 J..lg per kg per minute) that started immediately preoperatively and continued for two days postoperatively, the infusion rate was decreased to 1 J..lg /kg/minute in the second postoperative day. The second group of patients (group D + M) were received dopamine infusion in the same manner like the first group plus mannitol infusion (0.25 gm/ kg) days postoperatively. The third group of patients (group D+F) were received dopamine intraoperatively and every 12 hours for two infusion in the same manner like the first and second groups of patients . |
