Abstract This study contains extraction of natural products (plant origin) as pure active ingredient, and identified using chemical spectral analysis (IR, infera red spectrum and HNMR, nuclear magnetic resonance). The extracted materials were tested (bioassayed) against Confused flour beetle (Tribolium confusum), Cotton leafworm (Spodoptera littoralis), and Mosquito larvae (Culex pipiens). The biological and histological studies recorded on cotton leafworm and Culex mosquito larvae, respectively. The results concluded as follows: The tested products as pure active ingredients were most effective with Culex pipiens larvae ( than the other tested insects in this stidy ) especially Piperine and Dlimonene. Furanocoumarins were feeding deterrent substances for Tribolium confusum larvae, and affect the life cycle of Spodoptera littoralis in addition to Dlmonene prolongation effect. These natural products save against nontarget organisms and human, so, this is the most save and available method for insect control. |
